“No wifi service in the room”

“It was very comfortable and good”

“Clean and spacious room, and perfect location to the Esplanade area. Just a few minutes to the bus stops for most of tours. Bars and restaurants right at the hotel.”

“Positive Experience: This was my third time staying at this hotel in Cairns, and once again, it was a pleasant experience overall. I arrived early in the morning, and a kind Japanese staff member at the front desk went out of their way to assist me with an early check-in for an additional fee. Thanks to them, I was able to settle in comfortably after a long flight. Moreover, as I had requested in advance, I was given a room at the corner side with the best view, which I truly appreciated.

“No fire alarm Internet is poor No cutlery, no plate enough. They don't check. Very dirty, so much cockroaches Unkind owner Very noisy. You can next room talk and sneeze. ”

“The hotel is very dated and lacking essential electrical outlets. One has to crawl under a desk to use the only outlet in the room. There is no control for room temperature. There is only an on and off switch for the AC. So, either you turn it on and freeze or turn it off and be hot.”

“The location is further from the marina. While you can walk, it is a long walk and a car would be needed for those that don’t want a 35-40 minute walk to restaurants and marina. The property had the basics ( four plates, cups, and bowls, and some basic cooking items) and was sufficient for our stay as we often eat out for meals. The cleaning crew needs to do a better job though. There were stains on couch, carpet and curtains. Pool is very nice. Hot tub was really a cold tub.”

“Room was clean and functional, and the bed was comfortable with different types of pillows. Has WiFi but had a high latency at busy times. Everything worked as expected and was quiet at night. The little balcony was private and a good place to enjoy the morning with a coffee. The place is not a new establishment and is showing some sighns of aging but none that made a difference to my stay. The night time secure parking is a bonus me.”

“Hotel is located under the flight path and right next to helicopter pad from Cairns hospital. Does not have sound proof windows. Would not recommend.”
