"We had a great stay! The only thing that I would change is the lighting in our room was very dim(which is great to feel cozy, but trying to get ready would have lived more light) and there was no where to really do hair and makeup. The bathroom lighting was fine but there was no counter to set your things on. It was a pedestal sink with no counter at all. Other than that we loved it!!"

"Front desk is staffed 24/7. There is a beverage dispenser located on the first floor off to the right, you can get assorted coffees and flavored waters 24/7. There is not snack bar or vending anywhere on this property, you have to go to the marina store to get those. Also, being the resort is out by itself you have only one choice for breakfast and dinner if you don't want to leave the property, the fish house. Breakfast and dinners are pretty good there. The water taxi is the fastest and easiest way into downtown, it can be expensive and I suggest if your going to do this is the $17. Per person all day pass and its only for that day. The shuttle is nice but your at the mercy of traffic in going to or being picked up, if there is an accident on the bridge, you will be waiting possibly for hours. Pay mind to the water taxi schedule at it changed during the seasons. Miss either one of these and your going to be looking for a ride service. Resort is clean and staff polite and helpful."

"Beware! The hotel is undergoing renovations until at least January 2027. We heard trucks backing up and construction noises in the mornings. If you are a light sleeper, bring a white noise machine or book elsewhere. Our garden suite was very large and nicely appointed. Not quite as upscale as Charleston Place but also not as expensive. But…the window leaked badly when it rained and the safe stopped working midway through our trip and required repair. Housekeeping didn’t come to refresh the room one day until we called and complained. Another day they came but didn’t leave toilet paper or fresh towels, so we had to ask for more. Great location across from the market but a few little maintenance & service hiccups here and there. We had lots of windows on our end unit room. But they overlooked the construction vehicles and port-a-potties! We don’t regret our stay but will try a different place next visit."
