"The room is an older hotel that has been modernized. All the switches are touch type, digital for the lights, climate control, and even when you enter the room, the curtains open automatically. A lot of nice touches in the roof top bar is awesome with a beautiful view. Great location, great staff who is on top of everything, then it shows what can be done with an older hotel to make it more matter it’s more of a boutique hotel, and we loved it so much when we came back a few days later we stayed for another night. Good value for the price also."

"I recently stayed at Seda Ayala Center Cebu, and while there were some positive aspects, there were also several issues that made the overall experience average. First, I want to say that the staff and service were very good. The employees were friendly, responsive, and did their best to address concerns when they were brought to their attention. The breakfast buffet, however, was fairly average and the selection was somewhat limited for my taste. Unfortunately, during one morning at the dessert station, I noticed a small cockroach on the desserts. I informed a staff member, and she quickly came over and removed it. I advised that the entire area should be replaced, and to their credit they did change the items in that section afterward. Still, seeing that in a food area was concerning. The gym was fine in terms of temperature, but the equipment itself was quite dated and could definitely use an upgrade. As for the hotel itself, it feels quite dated overall. The hallways still have older carpeting from when the building used to operate as a Marriott, and the lighting on the floors is very dim, giving the hallways a somewhat gloomy feel. The exterior windows and outside areas also looked like they could use a good cleaning. My room itself was clean, and thankfully I didn’t encounter any pests there. "Pleasant and well maintained grounds, with fine sand beach area. Clean pools. Plenty of breakfast selections including fresh salad and fruit. Clean rooms with clean aircon units, clean towels and bedding. Lots of movie channels, and the electric outlets and light switches at the bed. The restaurant was priced higher than local but mostly less than USA/Europe. $5 pizza here would have been $10 in usa. $10 tuna steak here would be $20 in USA. "

"This is the second time ive stayed. Staff were great as always. When arrived fridge was not working and they were straight on to it to get it fixed. A few nights in TV stopped working and again straight away it was fixed. Unfortunately i had to call them a few times to get the hot water fixed and in the end i gave up as my stay was almost finished. "

"The staff are friendly and helpful, and the hotel is conveniently located near Mactan Cebu International Airport. The room was clean; I stayed in room 327, which is not soundproof. I could hear outside noise, especially aircraft noise. I have stayed in this hotel several times and have never experienced noise issues—only this time. The escalator was also out of order."
