Worth noting there is no lift so had to use stairs. Not an issue for us but worth knowing if you do struggle with stairs so you can ask for an accessible room. Will stay there again.”

Despite that it is an old building, it is tidy and well-maintained. The room(old-style) was clean and tidy. The food was okay.
It was quiet at night as the room was facing the cathedral.
The surrounding area is nice and has a variety of shops, restaurants and pubs.”
“My check in was Wednesday at 3pm but I arrived at 12pm on the day of my sons graduation on the 17th of September and the young man on reception was so accommodating in going out of his way in providing me an area to get dressed and freshen up after my 5 hour drive. Please could you personally commend him as he is an asset to your organisation. I will ask him if you did when I come to stay again! 😊”

“This hotel was a little out of the way, so you’ll have to use taxis for
Transport. They were very accommodating when we arrived early and they got us all checked in. The property was well maintained and the room was a nice size. The staff were helpful and managed all us cruise passengers even though there was a lot of us. I would stay here again. Dover is a beautiful town. ”
