"We arrived at the Property very late; on getting to our room we were allocated one of the smallest rooms in the hotel 418. I was very disappointed to say the least. We couldn't get by the side of the bed to the wardrobe with our suitcase as the gap was too narrow. The wardrobe was tiny and as we were there for 5 days , we ended up only putting my dresses in there. There was no drawers, and I had no bedside table. the room looked a bit dingy. It did have a kettle and paper cups to make hot drinks though. My husband asked to be moved the following morning. Apparently no other rooms were available and this is the room we asked for. The reception staff weren't rude but they weren't very helpful either. As it was our wedding anniversary, I wrote to tell them this and asked for a quiet room. All the rooms have either a square or a city view. We had a balcony, but not one you could sit on as that too was very narrow, Breakfast was ok with fresh fruit and yogurts, cheeses and breads. The cooked breakfast I didn't try, it looked ok with its crisp bacon and scrambled eggs. Jams and spreads and a toaster to use, plus a hot drinks machine. Its up a steep hill if you come from Abbess he nearest tube. The area is generally hilly . Close to restaurants, bars and shops and we loved the area. Would I stop here again.... probably not, I had a better experience at another Tim Hotel near Notre Dame. Its a 3 star hotel that's in a great area, but I'd stay lower down the hill next time."

"Sensational!! Absolutely above expectations. A day before check in, the host reached out to advise that they had upgraded us from the suite we had booked (Matisse) to a larger suite (Modigliani). What a nice start for our trip! Upon arrival, we were able to stow our luggage and take off to tour. When we returned, we had our check in code and easily access to the unit. The unit is immaculately kept, very clean throughout, quality linens, nicely furnished. It was a loft apartment with beautiful skylights that give you a view of the Sacre Coeur and bring light into the loft, but have very good electric shades to provide blackout. A nicely updated apartment that has all the charm of the older building (exposed beams, wood staircase, wood floor) but modern amenities and features. It was very hot when we were there (30'sC) but AC works well. Location! Montmaitre, right across from the main square, lots of activity but the unit is rather soundproof so not at all an issue. The restaraunt downstairs has a lovely patio for taking in the action and the food and service were excellent. We ate there multiple times, it was perfect after a long day of exploring to have a great meal steps from the apartment. Stairs. There are 2 separate flights to get to the unit, and one to the loft inside. If you are not mobile, it will be an issue but likewise staying in Montmartre will be tough - cobblestone streets and several flights (184 and 187 steps) to get to/from the metro at Abbesses."

"Hotel Des Arts Paris Montmartre is a very cozy hotel. The rooms are well designed and comfortable although somewhat small. It is located in a very nice part of Montmartre with pretty much walking distance to main attractions this charming neighborhood has to offer. There is also plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from. The staff is wonderful! They are very responsive and making sure you have a wonderful stay. Highly recommend it!"

"No air conditioning and elevator broken. They did move us to another property after 3 days but we did notice where they had bought a room sized air conditioner and tall fan for someone’s room as we were leaving. We bought an oscillating fan for ourselves. The heat was unbearable and we kept our windows open 24/7."
