All the accommodation has been recently updated and our bedroom was well equipped with complimentary toiletries etc, plus tea, coffee and bottled water. “Parking was good, right outside our room. Staff were very friendly and nice. There was a good choice for breakfast of cooked and cereal. The room was clean, did notice a couple of spiders, one small one in the bath which was easily washed down the bath and one above the wardrobe storage, which didn't cause any problems. “Such a lovely traditional pub with good accommodation, situated in a pretty rural setting, a short drive away from Pickering. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. “Management didn't think about the impact of the hot weather as the room was so hot and they supplied a tiny fan that did nothing to cool the room. Lots of spots in the hotel needs updating or repairing. Both the staff and the leisure amenities were great.”
