“Clean room Entertainment perfect, every night live show”

“Dear RIU Corporate Customer Service, I am writing to formally express my disappointment and concern regarding the unacceptable service and treatment I experienced during my eight-day stay at your hotel. What occurred on the morning of my departure was extremely distressing and has significantly affected my overall impression of RIU and my experience in Jamaica. On October 20, 2026, I spoke with a representative and inquired whether the hotel offered shuttle service. I was advised that shuttle...

“Great experience”

“Great place”

“We spent our honeymoon at Sunset at the Palms and it was truly a peaceful and relaxing escape. The resort has a calm, intimate atmosphere, and the beach was always quiet—perfect for unwinding. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. Concierge team checked in on us almost every day to make sure we were enjoying our stay, which was much appreciated. The service overall was excellent, and the food was fresh and flavorful. Our room was clean and comfortable, with daily housekeeping...

“Our stay was wonderful! The food was great the beach was amazing and the staff were great as well!! Can’t wait to return!!”

“Our experience here was unfortunately not what we expected. Although most of the staff were beyond helpful and kind, the property itself (although advertised as) is not handicap AT ALL. When booking I requested that my Father be assisted with handicap accessibilities. When checking in they informed me his room was on the third floor with no elevator, then charged me to “upgrade” to the first floor. There are no elevators. No golf carts for walking. Steps are everywhere including multiple trip...

“The smaller private all inclusive was amazing. Very relaxing, the staff was top notch, the lower level suite with the cabana was beyond perfect. The staff went above and beyond to make things great. Our view and access to the most beautiful beach there was amazing. Nice, quite and relaxing. The sunset will forever be engraved in my brain. We highly recommend this place.”

“I have stayed here in the past and my experience was by far the best the first time.. Not complaining but the staff wasn’t as pleasant, they seemed tired and overworked…Even with tipping then they were so dry, ask a question and it was like you’re disturbing them,..I would like to see some different entertainment it was the exact same entertainment from the last time I was there, bring out a live band during the day for a few segments of music, honestly I think it’s time for a make over,I didn’t...

“This was a great base to visit Negril & other attractions. We were very well taken care of the staff or outstanding”

“I paid for a beachfront view however, what I received was a view of the hotel room on the other side of the building. I spoke to hotel staff I was told “the beach is to the left of you bend over and look to the right you will see the beach”. That’s not my idea of a beachfront room. I would like a refund of my money because I was bamboozled! See photo!”

“The cove was wonderful”

“From desk outstanding , restaurant service and service request as well .Snorkeling boat capitan to honest or to roght talk to the ladies maybe cultural, great guys but should in my opinion use more kind words for the ladies, this is a comment c/ contracture view of future service only!”

“My wife and I stayed at the Grand Lido for a week, Sept 15 - 22. We have been there over 15 times in the past. So sorry to learn of the destruction in late Oct 2025 from Hurricane Mellisa. The country and resorts are still getting back to normal. Understanding that our resort was still healing, we gave special leniency to the conditions and service. Our Butler service was excellent! Our room was clean and well stocked. The restaurants were not quite up to par with prior visits, but.... ...

“Royalton is a beautiful property, and the staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming. Unfortunately, the Hideaway adults-only section felt like an afterthought rather than the premium experience we paid for. Almost all the amenities were located on the main Royalton side, requiring lengthy walks. Hideaway had no dedicated buffet or proper dining area, meaning we had to share spaces with families and children. We specifically booked an adults-only resort for our honeymoon to enjoy a peaceful,...
