“This is an old Best Western which is in decent shape. The reception area has a beautiful stairway. Bed was comfortable but pillows were awful. A/C worked well which is important in Texas. The vending machine on the 3rd floor had 2 items in it. Not choices. Items. The room was good sized but there was only 1 place to sit. It was the desk chair. Not a lot of choices in Hondo so we will most likely stay there again.”

“Clean room, air conditioning”

“Great stay”

“No cold running water in sink, trashy chair & carpet, curtains hanging off window, every single piece of furniture is beat up & falling apart! HORRIBLE”

“Customer service ”

“This facility is so much bigger than I expected. The cabin we stayed in is not new by any means and they have newer and bigger ones but for what we paid it was an exceptional deal. If you have an RV or motor home I think it would be great for a weeks stay or longer. It was cool watching the deer at sunrise and sunset. Beautiful country for motorcycle riding.”

“Quiet and beautiful location with river access. Pet friendly. Only major issue was the bed . Mattress is very soft and on top of a noisy box spring. Got poor rest due a bed with poor support. Please provide firmer bed. A basic mattress on hard surface without box spring would have sufficed.”
