“The pool area is great as is the bar inside and out! The bartenders were fabulous and the food looked good (we had already eaten). I was not happy with the room, however. The window was so fogged between the panes you could not see out at all, there was no side table or nightstand on the side of the bed, and the bathroom needed a deep cleaning, especially the floor. I was disappointed and very surprised considering what we were paying for the room.”

“Beautiful hotel, great location fabulous restaurants all around. Very comfy beds great shower. Bar is very nice, shout out to Greg and Graham. Breakfast had a very nice selection of yogurts, fruit, waffles, biscuits grits etc. front desk staff were very helpful shout out to Jodyann.”

“Room was nice, not immaculate but good enough with a little dating. Other than Marc, staff wasn't all that helpful. No one explained anything about the property. Bar manager and one other front desk person were inflexible. After paying a small fortune to stay, we thought we could have expected some things to be included but nothing was. Not only that, everything is at a premium, way overpriced. Waiting 1.5 hours for pizza at Coastal Crust wasn't my idea of a relaxing vacation restaurant...

“We have stayed in numerous hotels in Charleston and this was by far the best. The rooms were big and clean. The outdoor courtyard was perfect to come back to at the end of the day of exploring. Going forward it is probably the only place I would stay in Charleston when visiting. ”

“The hotel is perfectly situated to what we like downtown. Every staff member was helpful & nice. We stayed in suite 3D. The King bed is very comfortable. The American Leather pullout is very comfortable (our son slept on it). We were going to bring our dog, they even had a bed and bowls for him, but our plans changed. The turndown service is nice to get new towels after being out a shower and clean towels are appreciated. The shops in and around the property are fun. The landscaping and...

“I was shocked at the location. I'm glad I didn't plan to walk to the historic area, as it was not safe. The room was shockingly small, too small for even a bedside table to ut your glasses or phone on. It was made of concrete. This made it very loud in the room and uncomfortable. The bathroom door was basically for show and did not feel private. I would not stay here again. I would sleep in my car before paying to sleep there. ”
