“The Edgewater Resort is great for short stays or for families wanting affordable and convenient accomodation because the resort is large and on the beach. There are better options for couples or small groups who prefer a more quiet and romantic Island environment.”

“The property needs an uplift. Our room fridge was faulty and leaking, the bunk bed was making a creaking noise every time you turn around so it was difficult to sleep. Felt the room was too small for 4 people but we managed. The staff was really good and helpful so didn't even want to complain. The staff made it a very pleasant holiday for us. ”

“Rooms were clean and tidy. Staff went out of their way to resolve a couple of minor issues (out of their control). Bar is only open from 4pm daily. We were in rooms 1,2 and 3 and the rooms above were quite noisy ”

“We loved our stay at Ikurangi - in fact, it was the highlight of our trip to Rarotonga! Vicki and Alan have created a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere for their guests, and we were taken aback by their thoughtfulness. The luxury safari tent had everything we needed, and both Vicki and Alan provided great guidance on how to make the most of our time on the island. Alan’s breakfasts were also amazing, and the cherry on top of our stay! We can’t wait to come back!”

“It’s a great hotel, it is on the opposite part of the island to the main town so it is generally quieter. It is quite a small hotel, but very nice. It also has its own beach/lagoon area for swimming etc ”

“Very good. Many positives. Not cheap but worth the extra $ to have a beach view room imo. Nice people running and operating it. all very friendly and relaxed. The biggest and easiest improvement would be to upgrade breakfast. It's a very basic continental and could be so much better with some small improvements. The office closes early as well and whilst you have the owner's number if you need anything you tend not to want to disturb him (or at least I didnt) for general info etc.”

“Great snorkelling here. Pretty calm. Good facilities eg paddle boards, kayaks etc. Blinds dont block sun, just there for privacy, good breakfast, Id stay here again for the location. ”
