“Check-in was quick and easy. Found the room to be clean and satisfactory. Around edge of the bed they were large hairs on the floor that tells me that not much put into cleaning the carpet. When we return to the hotel late in the evening, the air conditioner was not working. And repeated attempts to contact the front desk from the room phone remained unanswered. Attempts to contact the hotel from our cell phones also remain unanswered. It was so late we endured it. But it was a miserable night...

“Well, I stayed here three nights as my son was graduating Air Force Basic Training at Lackland AFB. The Best Western is conveniently located right off Loop-410, not far from Ingram Park Mall and close to Lackland (about a 15-minute drive). There are actually several Best Western's "near" Lackland AFB, so make sure you're looking at the right one (this one is a two-story hotel). I'd say the facility itself is rather dated, but the management has kept the place very clean. It may be old, but...
