“A lovely hotel, that goes all-in with the railway theme. Although it is a pub-hotel, it has been recently refurbished, with all-electronic access, so nobody can get to the bedroom area unless they are staying there.
Half-price food in the pub on Mondays was a pleasant surprise, and the friendly - if slightly quirky - staff were a joy to interact with.
The room was comfortable, and the family room we stayed in had a separate bunk-bed area for the child, each bunk having its own...
“The room which I choose, given the option and price was absolutely perfect. The only thing I had an issue with was that in the shower cubicle there was body wash but no shampoo or conditioner.
