"Great location next to St Giles' Cathedral, staff all really friendly and helpful. Nice surprise that there was no charge for storing my bag on the day I checked out! Would happily stay again next time I'm in Edinburgh."

"One of the lifts was down for maintenance during our stay which made getting up to our room a little inconvenient. The pool was also closed which was something we were looking forward to using. The staff did offer to shuttle us somewhere else to use their pool but we didn’t want the hassle to opted not to. Overall it’s a great clean hotel with a nice breakfast offering and friendly staff. Fantastic location right next to Calton Hill and a short walk to the Waverly station."

"What an absolute gem, so pleased we booked to stay. Free parking around the back, easy check in, Craig and Anthony were so friendly and extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble and communication by email was excellent. The room was spotless, comfortable and quiet, the bathroom was also spotless with a good shower, there was even a fridge in the room which was a bonus along with complimentary water and Iron Bru! The B&B had a good size kitchen where you helped yourself to breakfast, bread, cereal and pastries, butter and jams, there was also different pots if you wanted to cook anything. Right on the tram line and lots of different cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Fully recommend staying here and we'll definitely be back!"

"We had a lovely stay at the unique Ocean Mist hotel ship. Excellent staff and service made for a fantastic experience! The breakfast was delicious with many choices available. Make sure to check out the cocktails which are made with great care by the bar staff. Affordable luxury! Will most definitely make a return visit!"

"Stayed in the Queen Charlotte room. Very clean and modernized place to stay. Probably the best shower in a hotel/b&b ever. Large bathroom with counter space for toiletries. Large soft towels. The room has dishes and glasses, silverware, coffee and tea, and a mini fridge. It was very comfortable. When we come back to Edinburgh, will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to everyone."

"The room was not that clean, bald patch on the carpet, extractor fan in bathroom not sufficient as mirror steamed up after a shower. Also we were given a disabled access room instead of a standard double and not advised. Winter duvet was too warm.Woken by loud music. Disappointing stay."
