"Really nice room,great comfortable bed and everything in the room you could want. Good location(when trams restart) for quick access to everything. Few bars and restaurants also close by but very quiet street to get a good sleep."

"We arrived ahead of our check in time and luckily our room was made up and ready for us - our host was so lovely and helpful and we felt welcome straight away! The room was a good size with super comfortable beds and bedding, very clean. Pleasantly surprised by the complimentary Irn Bru and water in the room's mini fridge and plenty of tea bags available too. You're able to help yourself to breakfast items in the kitchen each morning, with plenty of juice and milk available too. Super convenient to walk to Edinburgh city centre - just a straight road for about 40 minutes and plenty of shops."

"Location was excellent in Old town, walkable to most of edinburgh. Rooms were very clean, plenty of tea/coffee/biscuits supplied each day which I loved. Plenty of space for luggages and to spread belongings around. Couldn't really hear the main road despite being so close to it and with construction going on right outside the hotel. Overall pleasant stay and would come again."

"It was a unique stay on a boat in Leith that had clearly been lovingly restored and maintained. We loved our room and the decor. The staff were outstanding from the moment we came aboard, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable about the area and very attentive. We especially thought that the young waiter at the bar who made our cocktails was really lovely, cheery and funny. There was a very small issue with our room which was quickly resolved but we were delighted to be given 2 mugs as a ‘sorry for the inconvenience’ which is a lovely memento of our stay and a testament to how really lovely the staff were. We will certainly be back."
