I had a very late arrival (1am) from a business meeting in London, I got lost in the lanes and there was emergency road works, I called the hotel tired, cranky and lost, Richard was so kind, patient, calm, what an absolutely outstanding example of looking after your customers, when I arrived he extended that excellence, by upgrading me so I could stay in the main house and personally...

“Very nice hotel with comfortable, refurbished rooms that don't ruin the character of an historic building. Breakfast was decent with plentiful selections, although you might want to go earlier as it get very busy at 9am on a Sunday. We didn't try the restaurant but the menu looked excellent. You cannot do better in Henley in terms of location, it's right next to the Thames and famous bridge. The hand written note from the manager was a very nice touch. ”

“I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The breakfast was remarkable - so much choice and they even poached eggs for me instead of the standard scrabled eggs. Great, friendly and prompt service. In the room, the the coffe and tea offerings were also so much better than what I have been given at other hotels. Location was fabulous - easy access to Windsor town centre plus able to close access to the Long Walk for a bracing walk after Christmas festivities. Felt very safe area.”

“Stayed overnight for a wedding near by. A lovely welcome from the receptionist. Easy check in and a fantastic room. The room was clean, tidy and well decorated with lots of retro items. A well stocked hamper for those that are tempted with treats. The breakfast was delicious, I tried the full breakfast on a skillet with fresh orange juice and a filter coffee. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. ”
