Lift system a little quirky but reception staff welcoming and willing to help at every turn. Bus/tram system appears perfect for most peoples needs.”

“The location and view were truly excellent. Major tourist attractions were within walking distance. Right after check-in, we found that the bathroom sink was clogged, but it was promptly repaired. The breakfast was also outstanding. One downside was that noise insulation both inside and outside the hotel could have been better. Overall, it’s a very good place to stay in Edinburgh. ”

“This was our first visit to Kilconquhar Castle Estate and it was a lovely break away. Bedroom (17) was clean, modern and spacious. Staff at breakfast time, afternoon and evening were very efficient and friendly, nothing too much trouble. We used the swimming pool and sauna which were super. Our only criticism was the bed was too small (kingsize would have been more comfortable) and the duvet too heavy. We were also unable to open the window (keep it open overnight) for some reason.
