โNice location. The room was very clean. However there was no lift, which was so uncomfortable. We had to go up and down stairs carrying heavy luggage without any help.โ
โI had to check in over midnight due to the flight schedule. Instruction of how to enter the hotel was already sent to my email (no one in the reception), so that I easily opened the door.
The bedroom itself is a bit small, but has kitchen and bathroom seperately. Everything was good, but the towels & shampoo were not changed to new one, even bed was the same.
City center is close; 15min by walking, and easy to access from the airport as well. I will consider to stay again.โ
โAwful. I had the room downstair. If i knew i have to stay downstair I wouldn't book there. When i asked them to change my room they changed the double room to twin room which is also in the basement but a little more bigger and brighter. However the hotel manager(i don't know for sure) seems unpleasant about that. He said to me that i use two beds even though i am the single person. I didn't get it what he meant exactly but it looks like he doesn't want the twin room used by only one person. I...
โLikes - checking-in was easy and check-in staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was clean and spacious enough.
Breakfast was buffet-style and had adequate choices for my needs.
There is a good bus service into Edinburgh city centre.
Dislikes - my room overlooked the neighbouring restaurant so early evening was a bit noisy. โ
โVery good situated. Easy access to city centre , few minutes walk from train station . Good variety of food for breakfast and very clean. Would recommend if wanting a reasonable price for a city break . Will use again. โ
โThe hotel is probably priced as a cheap option but it is anything but! Itโs about a 15 min walk to the city. 2 modern art galleries on its doorstep and a scenic walk from the river leith. As for the actual hotel itโs amazing!! From management to housekeeping,maintenance and front of desk and obviously the bar staff ๐ are some of the nicest people Iโve ever met in my life and they go out and there way to help. Canโt thank them enough for making me feel loved โ
