โLoved staying at Abbey Strand! Very historic building but with all modern conveniences. Quiet part of Royal Mile away from noise & traffic but easy walk to anywhere. No air conditioning but temps are generally cooler. Definitely recommend a stay when in Edinburgh.โ
โIf you cross a mountain road following Google you will be challenged for another hill. Staffs are very kind and especially I miss Arturo so much! You can try the bar to enjoy the home of whiskey. Breakfast was fantastic as well. โ
โThis place was clean, easy to access, and in a perfect location. It was a 2-minute walk to the bus stops for city and tour busses. A coffee shop and a pub are directly below, but neither could be heard from the flat. The gulls were rather noisy in the morning, but honestly, itโs part of the experience. I would rebook in a heartbeat! โ
โExcellent location 3 minute walk to tram stop and grocery store. Walkable distance to royal mile. Spotless apartment with tea, coffee, water , milk provided. Only negatives were that milk expired during our 2 night stay and pillows are very bulky of you like a flat pillow. Other than that perfect. โ
โWe stayed at The Glasshouse (Glenlivet Suite) with our toddler from July 17โ22. The hotelโs location is excellentโclose to Edinburghโs major sights but still peaceful, and the rooftop garden was a beautiful place to relax.
