"Really lovely hotel. Very clean. Huge room, we stay 4 of us 2 adults and 2 children and the room was MORE than big enough, really fresh, airy and comfortable. The bed adjusted, which both adults and children thought was VERY cool. Our only loss of a star was that the ensuite wasn't separate from the room itself, although looked very cool and we didn't realise when booking. The rooms also don't have kettles however there is a station downstairs with hot water and hit drinks facilties for free. Really lovely hotel and very hip I'd imagine. I just like my bathroom privacy especially with children 😉😂."

"We enjoyed our stay at The Resident as it was well located to what we had planned and the staff was quite pleasant. However, as far as value - we felt the room to be small for the price paid. We also felt the bathroom tub was quite dangerous to get in and out of — as one had to step very far up and INTO it without a bar to hold or a proper door. The door of the shower also leaked a bit and we didn’t care for that as it required us to be rather mindful. If you’re looking for amenities - this hotel doesn’t seem to have many. No parking. No bar. However, it does have a great happy hour where they serve free drinks? So that was fun. Housekeeping was also pretty solid as they came every day for turn down, even on the days we woke up late. For a short stay, The Resident could be ideal."

"First class treatment here, and exceptionally accommodating with an early checkin for us weary travellers. All the facilities you could want, very nice roof top terrace to enjoy the view. Refreshingly reasonable in room mini bar. Importantly the hotel is superbly located and they deliver service in line with a top class establishment. Well done!!"

"The staff were very helpful and we only had coffee for breakfast. We really enjoyed the spa facilities in the partnered hotel. Which is where we really wanted to stay but there was no room when we booked."

"The hotel itself was excellent and clean. Unfortunately there was no hand towels and due to a lot of students that time we stayed, it was very loud, noisy, banging of doors and even knocking to our room. The staff were very kind and accommodating. They don’t charge for leaving your luggage even you haven’t check in and no charge too even you check out. The room is spacious but there was only one chair."
