Staff were over worked and doing multiple jobs as best as they could and as quickly as they good. Tending bar, taking orders, waiting on tables - just one person! They really struggled at breakfast with a coach party all coming down to eat at the same time and only two waitresses and one chef to handle everything. โMy wife and i stayed here for our Wedding Anniversary, Monday to today. Excellent staff in particular Reception, Noel & Cheys in Brasserie. Btw the back area needs a few cobwebs cleaning around glass panels, a little off-putting but no big deal. Food excellent, views suberb. Boat trips, Aquarium and steam train on the doorstep. โWe got to this property by chance. What a fun surprise. It is an old but very well kept inn. It has many beautiful hikes around. It is in the middle of nowhere. And that makes it even more fantastic. โ
โEverything was as described. Easy to follow instructions for checking in and ordering breakfast. Lovely that all the family are involved with very polite youngsters helping in the breakfast room. Breakfast choice was great and just what we needed for a day on the hills.โ

The room was spacious and comfortable with a shower and bath.It was very quiet.Breakfast in the morning was great and heather made us feel so at home.
