“What a beautiful property with a gorgeous room! We also enjoyed the extra rooms: library, music, etc. They were decorated very nice; we felt like we were staying in a castle! The staff were helpful and professional. The beds were not as comfortable as I would have liked. A perfect place to stay about 10 minutes drive from a park and ride into Edinburgh.”
“The Scott hotel was so charming. Updated well, but still jas plenty of charming architecture. No elevator, so be prepared to walk up a couple of stairs, but it was so cute. The breakfast was absolutely lovely. Staff was very friendly. A little ways off of the royal mile, but well worth it for the quiet charm. Easily walkable. There are also busses nearby if you don't want to walk. ”
“The location nd space was amazing…but it was the stellar staff that get the top notch accolades. They were all so friendly and helpful from the minute we arrived to the time we left. And not just doing little things, but things rarely done now. They happened to ask about our plans for the day and when they heard we had a full day travel trip they made us a goodie bag with treats and apples. I found everything about this stay to be wonderful and look forward to a return!”

"The location and view were truly excellent. Major tourist attractions were within walking distance. Right after check-in, we found that the bathroom sink was clogged, but it was promptly repaired. The breakfast was also outstanding. One downside was that noise insulation both inside and outside the hotel could have been better. Overall, it’s a very good place to stay in Edinburgh.
