“On check in, we had to vacate our room due to plumbing issues along the whole corridor. We had to wait another hour before our new room was ready, which was fine as it was out of their control to a degree. Our only complaint was that we had to ask for a complimentary drink or similar whilst we were waiting.....they should've offered that immediately, guests shouldn't have to ask, it's the least they can do! Other than that it was a pleasant stay.”

“Beautiful property out of the bustle of nearby Ambleside or Hawkshead. Lovingly cared for and staffed. Gorgeous views, delicious breakfast and dinner, and a hot shower. Hikes out the door. 5 minute walk to Beatrix Potter's home at Hill Top. We hope to return.”

“다시오고 싶은 조용한 휴양지 같은 호텔입니다. 윈드미어역에서 내려 짐이 많아 택시를 탔는데 오분거리로 8.5파운드 였던것 같아요. 푸짐하고 영국식 서빙을 해주는 조식과 아름다운 호수풍경이 기억에 남네요. 보네스 시내와도 가깝고 택시타도 버스요금 정도예요.”

“Lovely clean room. Friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfasts. Lovely food in restaurant. No TV service due to recent storms. This was not the fault of the hotel and they did provide a working TV in the comfortable lounge. Overall, a great 4 night stay. We will return.”

“Regrettably our room number 6. Did not smell nice. It had the smell of old wet trainers. We did mention it and a room diffuser was turned on. Some of the fixtures and fitting were falling apart. The shower was head was not appropriate for the size of the shower causing flooding. The staff were lovely and theroom was clean.”
