“This is a super small hotel with no elevator and tons of stairs. They only have one restaurant and one really small pool. This is not the place for elderly people or people who want to socialize with others.”

“Beautiful location, clean modern rooms, ocean front pool and staff super helpful. The hotel electricity is run with a generator so no hair dryers, mini fridges and some rooms do not have aircon. But if you are looking for an authentic beach hut experience this is for you. Be sure to bring insect repellant.”

“We had a wonderful experience at Kai Tulum! Everything was great, and we really enjoyed our stay. The beach and sea were clean, beautiful, and warm — perfect for relaxing and enjoying the Caribbean. Another big advantage was the nearby Maya archaeological museum, which made the experience even more special for us. The location was excellent, and everything met our expectations. We would definitely recommend Kai Tulum to anyone visiting the area!”

“The Grand Suite is lovely and the staff responded quickly to communication. It was not exactly what I expected as the description shows “private pool” and “private hot tub”. There was no hot tub. The plunge pool was chilly (not a bad thing as it was very warm outside) but as it was located on the first floor, it was very visible from the windows of the surrounding housing units and from the windows of the upper level rooms. So, no skinny dipping or sunbathing as it’s maybe not public but it is...

“C’est un petit hotel genre motel américain, donne sur une belle plage avec un beach-club convenable. Il n’est pas tout neuf mais la qualité des équipements, matériaux et surtout de l’entretien/ménage font que le séjour soit top. Le gros inconvénient a été le mec de l’accueil qui nous a fait rater notre visite aux ruines avec ses mauvais conseils. De plus, une fois qu’il a vu qu’il n’aura pas de pourboire, il s’est levé et parti sans dire au revoir, très mauvaise expérience, méfiez vous de lui.”

“The accommodation was beautiful. It felt like we had our own piece of the jungle. We've seen lots of coatis, raccoons and iguanas. Unfortunately, a lot of mosquitoes too, but that's expected in Mexico (at least in October). There was mosquito repellent in the room though. The staff were very helpful with any questions or requests.”

“Check in process was smooth. Friendly staff and helpful. Never expected a much bigger apartment wuth a TV with netflix/youtube kitchen and fridge and microwave. Sooo much better than the hotel. 2 bedrooms with two beds and 1 king bed on the other room with uts own full bathroom. There is also washer and dryer which is very convenient if you enjoy the water everyday. There is also a rooftop infinity pool that is only around 3 ft deep which is perfect for my kids that do not need floaties....

“L’ambiance était curieuse car l’hôtel était quasiment vide (seulement 2 chambres occupées). Le petit déjeuner n’était pas assuré mais nous avons eu un accès libre à la cuisine. La chambre sentait l’humidité car elle n’avait probablement pas été utilisée depuis longtemps. La petite piscine et les différentes terrasses étaient agréables”
