Kahikinui Forest Reserve, Hawaii hotel rooms at the Outrigger

"This is a really cheap hotel and felt dirty. We got in late and were just looking for a place to crash before heading to our final destination in the morning but it was honestly borderline of what I would consider acceptable. Another thing that rubbed me the wrong way was that we were told we still owed a guest amenity fee and parking on top of what we already paid. Their reasoning was that it’s because we booked through a third party (hotels.com) but when I checked my statement a resort fee was already included and I asked what the difference was and he couldn’t really answer. The carpet in the room felt so gross and there was a cockroach in the bathroom. We got out of there as fast as possible! "
