"We were there during the three days of storm Kona so unfortunately all pool & BBQ facilities were closed. As well as access to the beach.
Horrible trees down the landscaping cruise will definitely have their work cut out for them cleaning up but otherwise the grounds looked immaculate.
We had a problem being locked out of our unit, as I left my cell phone inside, and it took almost 45 minutes on a Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. to get the access codes resent to my husband's phone."
"Located about 45 minutes to the summit area of Haleakalā and about 2 hours from the Kipahula area. Good centralized location to visit all areas of Maui. I chose this property because of closeness to Haleakala. Unfortunately, the park was closed during our stay. This gave us time to visit all 4 regions oh Maui! All beautiful!
This property is well maintained and just what we were looking for. Comfortable, clean and good value. Bedrooms are small, but adequate with mini frig in room. Beds comfortable. Plenty of shelves for storage. No air conditioning but ceiling fan made room comfortable. Showers and bathrooms are just down the hall and clean. Community kitchen that includes use of dishes and utensils in your own cupboard. Refrigerator space is available if needed. Microwave and stove available. Comfortable sitting room where you can relax and visit.
Everyone was extremely friendly but left you alone if that is what you want.
I did not use the hot tub or outdoor shower but both looked nice.
Highly recommend and would definitely stay again if I go back!
Maui pineapple is down the road-recommend buying some pineapple! Delicious!"
"Four Seasons is worth every penny, every time. They are excellent. This property and the service is unmatched in the area. I stayed all of last week and then came back. Staff is so excellent. Property is gorgeous. It's just perfect. A lot of things aren't worth the price these days, but I have to say this hotel is worth the money. 5 stars."
"Property isn’t as nice as advertised. Very dirty when we arrived. No communication from staff during storm, no resources offered when we had no water/electricity. Asked for partial refund and received no response. Would not come back here or recommend!"
"Would give 3.5 stars if I could add a half star. This is one of the newer resorts in Wailea I think. A little further up from the beach but still very close so that shouldn't be a deterrent. Staff were excellent which is the bulk of the 3.5 stars and the pool area is quite beautiful. However- the restaurant is terrible. Ate there multiple times due to no other options because of the Kona storm. Minimal effort, the food is BAD (except the fries, those are great!). Overpriced. At one point I ordered a chicken caesar salad- I got a salad but certainly not that. A pile of lettuce, parmesan shards from a shaker, and a small pile of teriyaki chicken, slightly overcooked. Bizarre. No room service which is disappointing but they have a mobile pick-up service where they put your food in take-out containers and you get it at the front desk. Not much else in terms of amenities. The hotel itself is crazy overpriced for what you get- if they reduced the rooms a little then it would be more understandable. But the staff really are excellent which is the saving grace."
"Very comfortable environment for our time spent. Hotel staff and management were very helpful and
friendly. Perfect location for short walk to shops and the beach."
