"I had a lovely stay at The Three Shires Inn which is in the lovely, quiet spot in the middle of the countryside. Loved seeing the mountains and sheep.

"This hotel outside appearance is uninspiring, however inside the bar & restaurant it is welcoming with a roaring fire lovely on a very cold day.
Food is excellent, particularly the breakfast, with an interesting assortment.
Our room was a good size & thankfully near the car park as when you access the hotel through the back door it is a route march to find reception."
