"Great location if you want to be right downtown Nanaimo (which we did). This is the heart of the arts district and a short walk from the old city and across the street from the harbour. Only drawback is the parking situation. Public lot by day and hotel lot by night with not near enough parking for guests. We ended up having to pay for parking at the parkade at the harbour. Other than that a fantastic spot!"

"We arrived just before check-in and were pleasantly surprised to see hundreds of Canadian geese on Long Lake. Yes the highway is right there, but there’s plenty of green space behind the Long Lake Inn. I especially appreciated the first floor and was able to park right near our door, which is helpful since we’ve been traveling with our dog and a crate and all of our stuff easy access to our clean room. The location is close to everything."

"The lady at the front end office was very nice and accomodating. I was traveling with my sister and my 3 year old nephew. Whe had planned to stay for a few nights. Upon arrival their boiler blew and therefore was no hot water. We were told we can stay the night for free and she gave us a full refund I didn't expact her to do that but I apprecaited it very much! Will definity stay there again when we come to vancouver island. Very clean, comfortable beds and well worth the price."
