"I had a really nice stay at Hotel Gracery. It is a great four star option and overall a very comfortable place to be based in Seoul. The hotel felt well looked after and the room turnover was always done properly, which I really appreciated. I also liked the small thoughtful touches, like the eye patches and the bath salts, which made it feel a bit more special and relaxing after long days out. My room was on a higher floor and had a lovely view towards Gwanghwamun Square and the road leading up to it, which I genuinely enjoyed. The reception team were kind and welcoming throughout my stay, and the hotel itself is in a very convenient location. It is well positioned with good transport links and close to most places I wanted to visit, which made getting around very easy. The only downside, and the reason I am giving four stars instead of five, is that the level of English spoken by the staff was not always strong enough. There were a couple of moments where I did not get the answers I was looking for, which was a bit frustrating. For a hotel in such a central and tourist heavy area, I would expect a higher level of English at reception. There was also an occasional unpleasant smell in the bathroom, although I understand this can happen in Seoul due to older piping in some buildings. Overall, it was a cool and convenient place to stay, and I would still recommend it."

"Great location. The second floor allows you direct access to Seoullo 7017 which is the designated pedestrian walkway. Head to Seoul Plaza and Pascucci for a wonderful Italian themed brunch spot. Rooms are very big. Fridge in the room. And free bottled water every day. Very close to Namdaemun Market. When you get your bearings you realize you don’t need to walk along Seoullo 7017 to Seoul Station. You can take the escalator down to Exit 7 or 8 and access it that way. Myeong-Dong is a walk but worth doing. Takes about 20mins. "

"Second time staying at this place. Nice location but taxis might find it difficult to navigate into Myeongdong. Also when arriving, need to drag the luggage through the crowd (depending on timing). Walkable to Myeongdong station and Euljiro 1(ga). Just beside the new Olive young so very good place if the trip is focused on Myeongdong. Property was clean. At our point of our stay, there was renovation noise in the morning. Will consider staying again."

"Spent 9 nights in the corner room with view of Meodong area. Great location, central to market and nearby subway stations. Room was spacious, clean. Staff was very friendly. Nothing bad to say about my experience. I would stay again without hesitation."

"It was a clean room withe everything you need. At the elevator, you can find water fountain so you can start the day ready to explore the city. The location is perfect, close to the metro station but still calm enough so you can rest"

Plus, subway access just a few steps away made it easy to visit additional areas around Seoul. Located at the base of Namsam Tower and at the entrance to the Myeongdong shopping and night market makes this property ideal for visiting the area."
