We had to remove our shoes as the whole hotel is paved with tatami mats which was really comfortable to walk in. Room is clean with basic amenities available such as toiletries, water etc. the private onsen saved my lower limbs from the walks and tours. Depending on the timing you can get drinks or late night ramen after the onsen experience."
