Hotel Monterey Grasmere Osaka

"The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Reception is located on the 22nd floor of the building, although it can be a little tricky to find at first. You need to walk around the building, past the entrance to the supermarket, and continue around the corner until you see a taxi rank/car port. Go through the door and then through the second door to access the lifts up to reception. The room was lovely and spacious, which was especially appreciated when it came to packing our suitcases back up at the end of our trip!"

"Splurge and add breakfast! It was excellent. The French toast with truffle butter was perfection. Location is great for those who want to be close to the shopping areas, restaurants and shops."

"The hotel is generally clean and comfortable. For the price, you get value out of it. The staff is less courteous than staff at other Japanese hotel. But is generally helpful. Maybe the staff thinks Hearton is a budget hotel and therefore doesn’t need to be at a higher level of courtesy. One thing I would not recommend is the breakfast. There are few dishes. Most of them are cold or salad dishes. The rice is some type of brown rice. That is a big disappointment. No warm noodles. Overall, it s a good hotel for the price. But don’t pay for the breakfast."
