"Easy access to downtown. The pool was nice to go in after walking around all day. The New Orleans vibe was definitely was present in the hotel. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was a plus, plenty of options to choose from. The room was a little small, but it was perfectly fine. we also felt safe walking back to the hotel at night and during the day . We would recommend it to anyone staying in the areas."

"Our bed was comfortable. Bedding and towels were crispy white. Lots of fluffy towels including several face cloths. The room was updated with a cute, red refrigerator and lamps with USB-C outlets by the bedside. We were in room 2, close to the office. Despite the immediate proximity to so much, it was much quieter than I expected. Staff made a great effort to accommodate, like dropping and picking up bags early/late despite not being fully staffed (which we knew.) My only complaint was the floor. It's nicely tiled which should make it easy to mop clean. We remove shoes and walk barefoot. Seeing how dirty they got after cleaning them was disappointing. Thankfully with so many towels, we could clean our feet and the most trafficked floor to reduce the grime on our bare soles. The neighborhood feels a bit sketchier than it actually is but a tip is to walk on same side of Tulane and if walking to Canal for the streetcar, use a street more north than south. "

"First time in New Orleans. Our hotel was great. Loved the history of the building, and the staff was helpful and nice. Rooms were very clean. It's walking distance to food, shopping, and entertainment."
