“I paid almost double for a higher floor and got the 2nd floor. At 8am sharp there was construction going on right outside my balcony to repair the restaurant porch. A warning in this would have been nice. The appears to be no drainage and the parking lot sidewalk etc get swamped with the slightest of rain. Just another crappy tourist trap. ”

“I am so glad i found the FCI for our first trip to the Outer Banks. We really enjoyed our six night stay there during the last week of October. Our room was perfect for us and the yummy hot breakfast every morning was amazing. We chose a historic inn rather than a hotel or airbnb because we like the more personal touch an Inn provides. “Being early March, it was 55 degrees on day 1 and 69 on day 3. Being from Vermont, any day is a good day to sit at the end of a pier watching the sun rise and/ or set with a coffee/ beer in hand. The restaurant was excellent, with complementary breakfast, and dinner service available. ”
