Our casita was large and spacious.bed was very comfortable but some furniture needed to be replaced. Staff was excellent and very friendly. Food was very good only complaint food was not serve hot. Many times it was warm.

Resort is amazing, food is excellent! Our only issue is that each time we've stayed here we book a beach front casita and each time upon arrival we're told they don't have one, usually due to some complication. They try to put us in a lesser quality casita and we have to jump through hoops to get what we want, which still wasn't a beach front casita. If you want a beach that you can get in the water and swim, this is not your resort!

Main reasons why we could not rate the resort higher was related to the inability to make restaurant reservations for the first few night with no option to take care of it in advance as well as inconsistencies with room supplies in regard to coffee and snacks.

Several issues. Unable to make reservations for dinner for all nights upon arrival.. When trying to make the reservation on the day of, the restaurants were all full until 9PM. But we just walked up to the restaurant we wanted and were taken right in. Safe in room was not functioning and was never replaced. TV in room did not work and was never fixed or replaced. Quality of food at Pecos Grill steak house was not good.. on all courses. We have stayed here many times over the past 25 years but this will likely be our last. Otherwise, love the location and the casitas.. This was more of a management failure.

Beautiful resort, plenty of options for food & enjoying the scenery. We loved the location and how we could utilize all the amenities at all 3 resorts. We do think there could be more signage for directions because the first day was kinda confusing on figuring out where everything was but once we did it was a breeze and the app was helpful.

Great if you just want to stay on property, eat, drink, and stay by the pool. Not great for beach time or adventure. Beaches have big ugly concrete blocks not far out in the water. Beaches often are rock or have a big drop before sand.

The staff at El Dorado is amazing, everyone is friendly and attentive. Really enjoyed the 3 pools, main one at El Dorado was lively, lots of activities. 2nd was at the casitas was relaxing, more quiet without the loudness & the one at generations was beautiful & huge. More like a Vegas resort. Would definitely go back to this resort.
