The apartments are exactly as pictured. Close to the beach, although the beach here is quite small (more fishing boats and docking around), and can get busy/not so calm since it’s in the center of the town. Definitely easy to get to anywhere in Playa del Carmen and do tours, dine out and shop. We traveled with older parents and little kids so everyone hung out by the pool - the lounging area is quite big and nice at Magia. Staff members work very hard and are prompt with service requests like cleaning. The elevator was down when we came due to wider power outage but the service staff was helpful in carrying our luggage up. The building area itself is not the most accessible with strollers; need to lift and walk at several places but it’s all manageable. Building entrance is gated with door codes that change often so it’s quite safe.

The location was amazingly and Deborah was so helpfully and courteous. I would give her 5 stars! The penthouse was a bit more run down then expected by the photos, there was a lot of rust on things. Scratches and scuffs. The hottub was rusty so we did not use it. The water presure would go to a tiny Trickle withing 5 mins of the show and the water did not get hot. Only 1 roll of paper towels and no trash bags in the condo other then the 1 in the can. I think with some love and maintenance the place could be great.
