"We loved our stay at the Hotel RIU Palace Rivera Maya. When booking, we decided to upgrade our room to Elite U, because it provided us a view of the ocean from our room. Little did we know that having the "Elite" wristband would offer so many perks!! Not only did we get a room with a view, but we received a bottle of champagne in our room upon arrival, ability to make dinner reservations, scored bottles of wine/champagne when leaving restaurants, had our own Elite restaurant where the staff treated us like family AND a pool specifically for Elite members. The Elite U upgrade was definitely worth the extra cost."

"The property is really nice. Lots of choices for dining and entertainment. The pool area and beach are really nice. We loved the beach and plenty of chairs. "

"Pool area is beautiful and grounds are amazing. Rooms are very nice and clean, beds are very comfortable. Making reservations for early dining is almost impossible, by the time you arrive at the property the only times available for dinner are after 8pm. "
