“I stayed here so that I could attend the Highland games in Crieff and was only here just over 13 hours. Keep in mind that it's an old building with no a/c or lift and you'll be just fine! I took only the things I needed for the night in with me (leaving the rest in my car, where it felt very safe) and I slept with the window open and I was just fine (I'm very warm-blooded). “Every time we come back to the Royal, it never ceases to disappoint. The staff are the people who make this such a special and charming hotel. The warmest of welcomes and we were so well taken care of. Attentive and polite customer services, similar to that of Ashford Castle, that seems to be lost in many establishments these days. The only complaint we had, was that the bedroom was cold even with the small radiator up to its maximum temperature, and the fires had not been lit in the bar area...

“On smaller loch ard, near Loch Lomond, this hotel is off the beaten path. It’s beautiful and peaceful with amazing views of the water from every window. The hosts are so welcoming and we wish we would have planned to stay longer. They also saved us a lot of driving time by letting is know of a road closure that wasn’t on google maps. The food was good also but I can’t say enough about the hospitality.”
