“Wonderful view with warm hospitality”

“Good facilities. Very poor service level. 0 willing to assist. We are family of 6 with small children. We booked 2 double queen size beds in advance asking for connected rooms. We arrived to the hotel very late, after a challenging driving day just to find out that we received 2 separate rooms that are not even near to each other. When asking the clerk why was that happening taking into consideration our specific reservation he answered laconic that they do not have connected rooms nor do they...

“We stayed in a one bedroom suite with queen and pullout before visiting Hearst castle. This worked well for our family of 5 and we were pleasantly surprised by 2 bathrooms. Access to the beach and boardwalk to walk next to the ocean is directly across the street. Fun fireplaces for outdoor gathering are also on the property. Overall this was a great place to stay near San Simeon. Only two complaints keep it from a 5 rating - we got in late and had to check in at a different property. Also the...
