"I spent 4 nights at this conveniently-located hotel, just half a block away from Eataly Flatiron, one of my favorite eateries.
The hotel has upgraded doors (digital), hallway carpets, showers and AC control, but dated furniture. Still, it was clean, comfortable and secure.
Plenty of hot water and a roomy rain shower. The shower door had a slight leak, but not a deal breaker.
The king bed was comfortable at first, but it was not memory foam, and I woke up the first morning with a stiff upper back. Pillows were all different sizes, but I actually preferred to mix and match.
The room had a decent-size flat screen TV with Roku channels, a mini fridge and a safe, although the safe was bolted down, so it was basically useless.
Being an older property, the light fixtures were kinda funky, but they all worked. The bed frame itself had under-carriage lighting, the kind you see on cars from "Fast & Furious". Swank!
The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and I appreciated that the hotel itself was in a busy, but not crazy, neighborhood. Great restaurant next door that was always full, which was a good sign.
I would stay again."
