“Room 101 - The bathroom was not clean at all - needed a good bleach - clean around the bath , taps, sink. Came back to the room and there was a terrible smell - called the maintenance and it was the backflow from the bath !!!!! Was a bit better after being cleaned but was not up to a standard expected!! Would not stay again in that condition!! The Hotel is in a great location for shopping etc!! The staff were very friendly and helpful - nothing ws too much trouble!!”

“The hotel is very picturesque and still has it's original charm of the old coal exchange the bedroom (presidential suite) was comfortable but needed a refresh the headboard and the bottom of the bed looked worn out the room needed to be dusted on the wardrobe and hoovered fully the jacuzzi bath tub was very relaxing and nice to sit and chill in the bath , the breakfast was fresh and tasty there was plenty of food choose from hot and cold the toaster took a long time to warm up and toast the...

“Beautiful surroundings with an outside terrace overlooking a small lake, quiet. Staff very courteous and helpful. Grounds could do with a bit of tidying, cigarette stubs everywhere. Sink in bathroom problematic for shorter people, needed to stretch over the counter to use it, tap also very stiff to use and leaking. Enjoyed our stay very much and would stay there again.”
