Southwest Austin, Austin hotel rooms at the Highgate Independent

"It was close to entertainment walking distance."

"I want to start out saying that I have stay at plenty of La Quinta Inn and was very happy with my stay in the past. But this La Quinta Inn is something else, first it is obvious this La Quinta Inn has been neglected, it need some serious TLC. There was no hot water, found food on the floor, and there was no way I would have walk bare foot on the floor. The parking garage was dark, not very clean, and lights was flickering. This was something you would expect to see straight from a slasher movie. Needless to say, we check out early and went to another hotel"

"Juan the shuttle drive was the absolute BEST. You won't find better customer service. Thank you Juan!!! Also the breakfast was way better than I expected. Being able to leave my vehicle overnight while flying was an added bonus!"

"The room was clean, beds were comfortable, had plenty of towels and lighting in the room was good. Our air conditioner did not work in our room and we had to pay extra for parking, $42.76 per night, had to pay $50 deposit, which we weren’t aware of this before we arrived at the hotel. I’m not sure if we will stay there on our next trip to Austin."
