"It’s a nice traditional hotel with friendly staff. Bedroom felt dated and there was no mini-fridge for the milk but bathroom had been modernised and was much better.
Extensive Beautiful gardens in bloom with many flowers so it was very strange none of them had been cut for inside vases on tables - in the arrival lobby there are unattractive tired dried flower arrangements which don’t set the scene well!
Nice touch to have morning coffee in warming pots and takeaway cups available in the lobby
Very good breakfast. A comfortable stay but not worth £500 a night!"
"Location on the old course and close to shops. Wonderful views of ocean and beach. 18 restaurant was amazing. Concierge Jamie was so helpful leading up to and during the trip"
"Superb location close to golf course, wonderful views. The room was large and comfortable and staff are very helpful. Generous traditional Scottish breakfast."
"I was in Scotland for 17 days, and this was my favorite hotel due to its uniqueness and the hospitality of the owner. I only wish I was able to stay longer than one night! The place is easiest reached via a car, but you can get there via a bus. (I was traveling without a car.)."
"We loved the accessibility this property gave us to St Andrews! Everything is walkable & it was especially close to the old course club house for my husband’s golf round. Parking is super hard to come by in town for free. This location was right around the corner from an entire row of free spots, we never had an issue finding a spot. Staff were all amazing! Would definitely recommend this location!"
