Spacious room with a kitchen, perfect for day trips!Booked the Standard Twin Room and it was incredibly spacious. The kitchen and hot plate were perfect for cooking supermarket Hida beef, which is much cheaper than restaurants (though the smell does linger!). The location is super near the bus terminal, making it great for day trips like Kamikochi to escape the summer heat. The only downside is no lift to the second floor, but the concierge will gladly help carry your luggage up if you ring the bell. Highly recommend!

The smell in the house is awful everything smells like old mold and nothing is updated. Its very cold downstairs and hot upstairs. If you like smelly clothes and short to railroad this is it. Retro for some people but really paint is not that expensive and some updated heating and cooling would be nice.
