“Very clean and well decorated room. Nice friendly resort with some nice activities. The location is very nice and away from a lot of activity. Breakfast is not acceptable and need to provide better options. The dehumidifier in our room had to be emptied twice and of course alarmed in the middle of the night. This is a nice place for families to have a get away location if staying several days. For the price, there are better options but it was an ok overnight.”

“Island Bay Resort was even better than we had anticatiped. The resort is beautifully maintained. Our cottage was uniquely decorated, very clean and very comfortable. We loved the intimacy and peacefulness of this small resort. Because there are only 10 cottages, and no additional guests are allowed, it is never crowded or noisy. Just what we were looking for! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We spoke with Daniel, the owner a couple of times and could tell he and the staff work...

“We loved our stay, the staff was very friendly specially the 2 gentlemen that were in the breakfast. The hotel was very well maintained and peaceful. Our room was excellent the only complain I have is the A/C hitting our bed directly. But other than that I would stay here again.”

“How clean everything was”

“The rooms were spacious, clean and updated. We had the King Superior Ocean View, and it was provisioned with a small fridge and microwave which were handy. The resort featured a nice manmade "Beach Area" with lounge and Adirondack chairs. The beach area had three palapas for shade. The resort did not feel crowded and there was always plenty of chairs. The lounge chairs did not have cushions, and these would have been nice, that would be my only recommendation for the resort to add. The Hotel...

“If you are looking for a little slice of paradise to unwind this is it! We stayed for 3 nights with our two kids (3.5 & 1.5) they loved going down to the beach everyday and playing in the water. Great central location to some awesome restaurants. Couldn’t of asked for a better spot to chill out with our family”
