“By sheer chance we ended up at the Three Cups - and it is a delightful family run traditional (as in 500 years old traditional) coaching inn. The food was fantastic, both at dinner time and breakfast. Very personal attention paid to everything. Beautiful gardens, with streams running through. The village is spectacular, with wonderful little shops, as well as the trout streams running right through. ”

“The George Inn was an excellent choice for our first night in England, due to its proximity to Stonehenge and the reasonable cost. All staff were attentive and helpful. Was so glad for the spacious car park because I was absolutely shattered and it was so dark.
We stayed in a twin room with double and single bed. The single wasn't quite as plush as the double and my daughter was so disappointed she wasn't allowed to sleep in the big bed! The single was a bit hard but not too bad. I was grateful for the extra pillow in the wardrobe as they were a bit flat for me.
