"Owners and staff were extremely helpful, especially when using the luggage forwarding. Use of common area is perfect for buying groceries and making own food ( There is a 24 hr grocery store nearby). The rooms are beautiful, abeit the walls are thin. it does not deter from staying here and would recommend for anyone wanting the old feel with updated features.It is also conveniently close to 2 train stations. which makes transit relatively easy."

"Very nice hotel with friendly staff and super clean rooms. The price it’s amazing for the room size, other hotels for this prices were much smaller in Tokyo and Osaka. My room had two beds which is always useful to avoid any issues over sleep. Room had very great space, balcony, good sized closet, a table for two, TV, bathroom with private toilet, full shower and tub and full equipped lavatory. It also has a good sized counter to put stuff on and it also converted to a sink by lifting the top part of the counter. The room was fully equipped with microwave, dishes, glasses, cups, etc. it has a 24 hours self service cafe machine which is nice/ It’s also located in a quiete neighborhood a 15 minutes walk from Kyoto station."
