Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo

Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo

10/10 Excellent
"Our stay was exceptional. From the moment you arrive at the property, the guest services are ready to assist you. Even when you're half delirious from 12-hour flight. A lot of the staff speaks English and they're very interested in assisting you. Our room was beautiful and nightly turndown service was a nice touch. We ordered room service one night while we were in town due to a rainstorm that kept us indoors and that was a really unexpected nice experience as well. They bring a whole table set up with chairs and everything. I use the onsen while I was there and that was a relaxing experience as well. The restaurants on site were really nice as well. However, we did have some challenges with booking just because we made reservations at the last minute. And the gardens are beautiful as well. We walked several times during our stay. However, keep in mind you should probably use bug repellent, especially during the summer months when we traveled"

8/10 Good
"Unlike other countries, we can’t control the air conditioning remote for individual rooms. All amenities, such as tea and coffee powder, are kept on the third floor, which is not disclosed to guests. The breakfast is the same every day, and the food choices are limited for international travelers. However, considering the cost, even though the rooms are smaller, the convenience of transportation is worth mentioning. The basement has an underpass metro, and it’s only a 9-minute walk to Shinjuku station. Overall, the hotel is a good option for budget-conscious travelers."
