“i mean nice area outside, good for dog walking (as a dog friendly hotel kinda important). on arrival the owner stopped his car and approached stating oh keep dogs on lead. i asked why as it was an enclosed area with maybe 2 other cars in the entire car park. he moved from everywhere is dangerous to oh there is a private house over there with a another dog (obviously history here). we dutifully stayed away but i let him sniff about. hotel was super dated, marks in the bathroom, chips on the...

“Parking is easy,beside hotel.breakfast very good, nice selection. Staff are very good, friendly and helpful. Room is clean as is the whole place. We stayed one night last year, two nights this year,same room lovely views.”

“The room was small but very well maintained and clean. The breakfast you could not fault, although you had to give your choice on the night before which personally not in favour of. The staff were very attentive, pleasant and efficient. The situation in the middle of the village ideal and parking on site, excellent. No dogs allowed on site which I am in favour of.”

“Stayed as part of a ride around the NC500. Of all the places I stayed this was the highlight, perfect host and truly great breakfast. Literally couldn’t ask for anything more than the care and attention I received. The room was basic, however everything you could need was provided. Bed comfortable. Cannot recommend enough!”
