“Super friendly and quick check in. Prompt room change when the room key wasn't working. Excellent spa facilities - notably the thermal pool. Good range of breakfast options (the pancakes from the kitchen order options were fab). Good quality food for evening meal in the dining room. The location speaks for itself - fantastic. ”

“Free parking and views of lake from the dining room were very good. Half board - the dinner was good but overpriced so the 10% service charge worked out extortionate. NOT GOOD We were put in a small loft room with a difficult door to open and a tight stair access- the room and whole property needs a lick of paint and could be cleaner. Location too far from bowness - walking into town is 20minutes but on both roads which had no pavement so very dangerous. Wouldn’t stay here again .”

“I was so happy to have sent our honeymoon from a fantastic hotel. The honeymoon room we stayed in was comfortable and the tub could bubble shower. Everything was perfect. All the staff were friendly and breakfast was very good. The evening in the restaurant next to the hotel was excellent and the staff was friendly. I will definitely go back to the first year of marriage next year. I hope you do not forget us.xx”

“다시오고 싶은 조용한 휴양지 같은 호텔입니다. 윈드미어역에서 내려 짐이 많아 택시를 탔는데 오분거리로 8.5파운드 였던것 같아요. 푸짐하고 영국식 서빙을 해주는 조식과 아름다운 호수풍경이 기억에 남네요. 보네스 시내와도 가깝고 택시타도 버스요금 정도예요.”

“부부가 운영하는 작은 호텔이다 . 호텔은 깨끗하고 분위기가 있으며 주변 지역도 조용했다. 호텔에서 Orrest Head까지 도보로 30분 정도 소요되어 산책을 즐길 수 있다. 저녁 식사와 아침 부페는 대단히 훌륭하고, 특히 디너는 이번 영국 여행 중 최고로 훌륭하고 맛있는 식사였다.”

“This is a repeat trip to this hotel. set in the glorious countryside of Grasmere. The hotel has a quaint but contempoary feel. all the staff from arrival to leaving were understadig and willing to talk to us about the spa, food or the amenities. We had an upstairs upgrade room with Jacuzzi bath and balcony overlooking the adjacent stream. We visited the compact spa which was welcome after a days hiking and lasted one half hour by our choice.
