Valley River Inn

"My daughter and I attended a concert at the nearby Cuthbert amphitheater and the following day, shopping at the Valley River Mall, also just a stone’s throw away. In the morning we enjoyed a walk along the river and also enjoyed dinner at the Sweet Water restaurant; spendy but right on the river. Apparently the hotel was remodeled in 2024; the room was spacious, beds comfy, well appointed with a great view of the river. Check in was easy, lobby was lovely and welcoming…I would definitely recommend the Valley River Inn."

"Wonderful spot to stay in the middle of downtown Portland. Room and bed were nice. Bar area was nice to wind down before bed. Only downside was having to find own parking."

"We made sure to stay in the Hayward building based on reviews I read. It was fantastic, bright, clean and comfortable with an amazing breakfast (the only thing that would have made it better is a fresh fruit salad). The room had lots of space and lights and the bar and grill had a light menu that was perfect for anyone not wanting a big meal."
