“This is a beautiful place to stay. We wanted a comfortable place to relax for a few days before we headed on with our UK journey. Margarita and Liam are truly the most enjoyable and helpful owners.
We had a great time walking to the local pub and lounging around this luxurious property. Our room was so comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious.
We look forward to coming back next time we are in the area. ”
“Comfortable clean hotel room in a country setting. Downside: Restaurant only offers burgers and they don’t start serving coffee until 9 am. The room could use a luggage stand/bench. ”
“The property was directly across street from main train station which takes you into London. Family room too small for family of four. No space to walk around bed. Expected 2 twin beds and a double bed but got one twin bed and a cot which was between the twin and double bed and you had to crawl across bottom of bed to stand on whatever space that was not occupied by suitcases. This should be a triple room rather than a quadruple family room ”
“In our room the toilet brush was missing, and the shower "microphone" was fixed at the top and not removable and therefore not very functional for a complete body cleaning.
The staff at the facility were very friendly and efficient.”
“Very friendly, comfortable old country inn on the edge of a large village green. We enjoyed a good pub food dinner and hearty breakfast. A friendly welcome when we arrived and our room was very clean and comfortable with a TV, tea & coffee making, and nice toiletries in the bathroom. ”
“Lovely old pub, nice friendly staff. We booked the large double which was extremely comfortable, great pillows. The only let down was the cold, it was freezing. Heating wasn't working. This wouldn't put me off staying again, as it's a really nice place”
