“Yes, these rooms are above a pub but you can’t hear any noise. The appointments were like that of a luxury hotel. The staff worked behind the bar at the pub for the most part and they were extremely responsive to any request. “Excellent food and very friendly staff”

I can certainly recommend the full English breakfast, possibly one of the best I've ever had, there are lighter options. Apart from the intense heat, which...

“We had a great stay at The Mitre. Really friendly, helpful staff. Right next to the station and a short walk to the waterfront and town. Very comfortable room with everything that we needed.”

The staff were friendly though . I'm was about a 25 minute walk from the station there's a bus also. No 3 heworth cafe was...

“Breakfast not great, beds not very comfortable, room cold on arrival”

“Clean comfortable room. Good TV. Modern bathroom but need to replace the black mouldy silicone in shower and sink!”
